There’s no doubting the athletic prowess of rugby league players and 2019 saw some teams publish their in-house stats to showcase the incredible physical efforts of their stars – and now Super League has revealed the fastest player from last season.

St Helens’ Welsh winger Regan Grace is that man after clocking a startling speed of 36.07 km/h, narrowly ahead of slightly ahead of fellow winger Liam Marshall or Wigan and, perhaps surprisingly, Hull KR hooker Matt Parcell, who both achieved an impressive 35.96 km/h.

Hull FC’s Ratu Naulago and Warrington Wolves pair Daryl Clark and Jake Mamo rounded off the top six, Fijian Naulago recording a speed of 35.89 km/h in his impressive first year as a professional rugby league player.
