Rugby AM are delighted to announce the return of the ever-popular business lunch – which will take place on Friday 19 July 2019 – with guest speakers Jamie Jones-Buchanan & Paul Sculthorpe MBE.
The event, proudly sponsored by K2 Mechanical & Electrical Services, will see host Alex Simmons referee a War of the Roses as guest speakers Jamie Jones-Buchanan and Paul Sculthorpe MBE take centre stage.
Jones-Buchanan has made over 400 appearances for the Rhinos and, since making his debut back in 1999, has become one of the most decorated players in Leeds’ history, with seven Grand Final wins and a Challenge Cup.
The Bramley-born former England international is one of just two players, along with Warrington’s Ben Westwood, to have played in Super League during the last millennium.
JJB will be joined by a Rugby League legend synonymous with the other side of the Pennines, Paul Sculthorpe MBE. Sculthorpe won four Super League Grand Finals, three Challenge Cups and two World Club Challenges in his playing days, the vast majority of which were spent with St Helens.
Since retiring, ‘Scully’ has been involved heavily with the Steve Prescott Foundation and, as of the last few years, has become a key part of the England international backroom staff.
The lunch, which will to return to Weetwood Hall Estate in Leeds, will feature a two-course meal, a business networking opportunity and entertainment with stories from both icons of the sport.
