Catch up with the first episode of Rugby AM in 2017 this weekend as we feature State of Yorigin, Toronto Wolfpack and an extended interview with Tom Burgess.

We delve inside British sport’s first transatlantic team the Toronto Wolfpack as the 18 finalists from the TV show Last Tackle took to the field in a historic match against Brighouse Rangers.

On top of this we speak with one of the main men behind the venture, former rugby league player and film star Adam Fogerty who lets us better understand the ins and outs of the whole project.

Head coach Paul Rowley and Director of Rugby Brian Noble talk in-depth post-match about their vision for the Wolfpack as they prepare to guide the team into their first ever rugby league season.

Continuing the international theme, presenter Alex Simmons recently took a trip to Australia over the Christmas period and while down under he caught up with his old mate Tom Burgess.

Also on the show and a little closer to home we feature the East against West Sate of Yorigin featuring two rugby league legends Adrian Morley and Robbie Hunter-Paul who discuss the game and the concept.

So be sure to catch the first Rugby AM episode of the new year this weekend in your local area. Show times can be found by clicking below.
