In that time we have produced over 150 TV shows, 100 radio shows and 1000 YouTube videos, which have been broadcast each and every week across the nation and the world.
This year in particular has seen the company progress significantly, with a brand new office allowing us to increase the quality of our team – a far cry from the early days in Simmo’s garage (contrast below).
In a season that started in Brighouse and ended in Brisbane, the Rugby AM team have travelled across the world producing quality original Rugby League content.
The month of November has seen our online stats reach a record total, with a high volume of video output produced from the World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.
An incredible 517,639 minutes of content on the Rugby AM YouTube channel was watched across the 30-day month, with an impressive average view duration of over 3 minutes per user.
With over 200,000 views for November, it's clear that supporters are engaging with our great game and product, with Rugby AM the only weekly Rugby League magazine show to go out across the country every week.
Founder, Alex Simmons, commented: "I'm hugely appreciative for all those that work with and support Rugby AM. I have to say a massive thanks to the players too who give up their time to help promote the game of Rugby League through our channel.
“I'm confident of another huge year of growth for the brand and the game in 2018. Our goal in 2012 when we started was to showcase the personalities of the game, so to hit 500k minutes watched for November was a huge achievement.
“Our weekly TV audience has also now grown to over 50k BARB rated viewers which is a huge weekly reach for our sport in the UK. I would just like to say another huge thanks to all those who watch, support and subscribe to Rugby AM. I'm confident we can grow further in 2018 and we will continue to work as hard as we can for this great game."
