Alex Walmsley crowned Cfast 1 minute row champion

Many attempted the Cfast 1 minute row challenge this season but St Helens Alex Walmsley proved to be the winner with a staggering 403 metres.

Before he and his teammates went out for Mad Monday, the owner of Cfast Gary Dickenson presented the St Helens forward with his £1000 prize to spend with the rest of his teammates.

The 403 metres achieved by Walmsley was closely challenged by Mitch Achurch of Leeds (401m) and Anthony Gelling of Wigan (397) but Saints' number 8 was too good for the rest of the field.
